Academic Personnel Manual (661-14): Eligibility
Only the following academic appointees may receive additional compensation for Summer Sessions teaching:
a. Academic-year appointees,
b. Appointees holding split appointments, partly on an academic-year basis and partly on a fiscal-year basis, provided the fiscal-year portion of the appointment is for less than half-time during the Summer Session period.
Faculty or academic staff that have eleven or twelve month, full-time, fiscal-year appointments cannot receive stipend for summer teaching under any circumstances.
