CalAnswers can help you analyze the historical enrollment data and trends for Fall, Spring and Summer. Enrollment trends from these reports can be used to strategize the best courses to offer in Summer to alleviate impaction during the academic year (meeting demands) or to offer a required course for major or graduation that is not offered in the academic year (filling gaps). Summer Sessions is committed to work with departments to discuss Summer strategy and will reach out in late Summer/early Fall to schedule face-to-face meetings.
In order to receive Departmental Support Funds, courses must meet the minimum enrollment to avoid cancellation and meet the minimum enrollment for support funds. Summer Sessions monitors enrollment numbers closely throughout the registration period and works with departments to address any enrollment issues.
